How Often Should You do Microneedling Treatments?

As a general rule of thumb, microneedling treatment can be safely done about once a month or every 4 to 6 weeks. This is the frequency that works best for the majority of patients of all skin types, but some patients find that microneedling treatment more or less frequently than this range works best for their skin and their aesthetic goals.

We will apply a topical numbing cream to the surface of your skin for about 10 to 20 minutes prior to the start of your treatment. Once your face is sufficiently numb, we will use a gentle cleanser to remove the cream and any excess dirt, oil, or make-up from the skin surface.

Recovery

The majority of patients are recovered from treatment within 1 to 3 days. There is no extended recovery time associated with this treatment. Provided you take care to follow the post-treatment guidelines and, after 72 hours, wear sunscreen when you are outside, you are free to return to all normal daily activities
